Degoo

Degoo can perform two tasks: back up data to the web, and restore data in case of a data loss accident. After you install it on your PC and sign into your account, you can tell Degoo what you want it to back up. If you have problems figuring out what to back up, Degoo will offer to automatically select what should be backed up. Once your data is securely backed up, you can use it for data restore purposes – you know, in case an annoying data loss accident should occur.

Degoo is available for Microsoft’s Windows operating system and for Apple’s Mac OS X. After you install Degoo on your PC or Mac, you will have to log into your Degoo account. If you've already created one on Degoo.com, just type in your credentials and hit Login. If you did not visit Degoo.com and you don’t have an account, click “Not a user? Sign up.” By doing so you will be able to create an account directly from Degoo’s interface.

After you log into your Degoo account, the Degoo software will ask you to choose what to back up. If the software detects that you’re having problems choosing what you want to back up, it will offer to automatically back up data for you – it will select the data it believes it’s important to you and will back it up to the web.

While Degoo is up and running, you will see a ∞ symbol in the system tray. Left/right click it and you will be presented with a context menu that features the following entries: Open Degoo, Pause, Resume, Exit. Double click the system tray icon and you will be presented with Degoo’s interface. There are but 3 tabs at the top of said interface:
Backup – choose what to back up, remove from backup, view back up progress.
Restore – start a new restore process and restore any files that you lost.
Preferences – open and manage your Degoo account, see how much space your backups take up, get more online storage space.

Degoo gets you started with 100GB of online storage space – you get this amount of free storage space by sharing hard drive space. The more you share, the more you get. Even if you don’t share anything, you still get 3GB of storage space.
It must be mentioned here that you can earn additional online storage space: up to 100GB by inviting friends or a guaranteed 20GB by sharing your processor.
